Exils

Exils (Exiles) is a made-for-TV movie based on the play of the same name by Philippe Soldevila and Robert Bellefeuille. It tells the story of identical twins, separated at birth, who set out in search of their biological parents, each unaware of the other's existence. The journey takes the sisters – played by real-life twins Annie and France LaRochelle – from Vancouver to Moncton, and along the way, they encounter all kinds of characters within Canada's francophone communities. The result is a tender and humorous adventure about the human quest for roots, identity and a sense of belonging.
