Le gros laboratoire

Based on the Dutch ‘Het Instituut’ concept, Le gros laboratoire is a new scientific TV magazine that is both funny and entertaining, but not in the least bit educational. Shot at Bishop’s University, in the heart of the Eastern Townships, and hosted by Jean-René Dufort and science journalist Marie-Pier Élie, Le gros laboratoire subjects 100 Quebec guinea pigs to various scientific and often zany experiments to test various hypotheses and draw conclusions about human behaviour, including our reactions to fear, sex, humour, racism, money, and aging.
